The subject needs to be photographed from head to toe, and for best results try to be on the same level as them when taking the photo (rather than aiming the camera down at them). They can either be standing in the design (as shown in the example), or they could be shown sitting on the cotton reel. If so, photograph them sitting on something like a stool so that they don't lean back.
