[FORENAME] [SURNAME] is still celebrating this morning after she was crowned Mother of the Year, in last night's star-studded Marvellous Mothers awards ceremony, in London. [FORENAME] was secretly nominated for the award by her nearest and dearest [NOMINEE].
The attractive [SURNAME], who looks much younger than [AGE], was the unanimous choice of a panel of judges who examined the qualities of more than 1,000 mothers nominated from all areas of the United Kingdom. They were impressed by a host of entries from mothers who had devoted all of their time and energy to bringing up their children, but decided none had shown the same level of love and dedication as [FORENAME]
The [LOCATION]-based mum received her award from celebrity mother Madonna and the Prime Minister, David Cameron, whose government had backed the awards. "We know how important it is to have good mothers in this country," said the Prime Minister. "[FORENAME] [SURNAME] has proven to be the best of the best. Nobody has shown the same kind of commitment that she has. She does everything she can to make sure she is the best mum possible and has made countless sacrifices in order to put the needs of others ahead of her own."
[FORENAME] will be given a rousing reception when she returns to [LOCATION] with her trophy this afternoon. Thousands of well-wishers are expected to line the streets, with her family and friends joining her on an open-top bus to celebrate her success.
The modest [SURNAME] was understandably delighted to win the award, even if her success had been entirely unexpected. She thought she was travelling to London for a sightseeing trip, only for her family to whisk her away to the Ritz Hotel, where the awards ceremony was taking place.
"I'm totally shocked," said [FORENAME]. "I can't quite believe it and it's going to take quite a bit of time for this to sink in. It's nice to get an award, but the best thing about being a mum is not a trophy - it's knowing that you've done everything you can for your family." In a touching moment at the conclusion of the awards the [SURNAME] family told the audience, "We love our Mum very much and we're thrilled that she has won this award. We always knew she was the best mother in the world but it'll be nice to read about it in the paper tomorrow!"
